Introduction
Experience the art, poetry, and performance of the art world's newest and most controversial art movement to date. For it has been scientifically proven to balance the electromagnetic frequencies of healing in whatever environment it is placed. The pilot study using brain-scan technology at one of the world's premiere physics labs was completed at Arizona State University with results that have left scientists and doctors baffled, mystified, and pleasantly surprised that the art itself seems to emit unusual healing frequencies and energies.
According to the artist, he has hidden "energy encoders in the art using a modern twist on an ancient secret." Although the artist quickly dismisses claims that he is a 21st Century living member of the notorious Illuminati group -- popularized by the blockbuster bestseller "The Da Vinci Code" and who allegedly placed the "Keys to Heaven" and spiritual enlightenment in some artworks, most notably the Mona Lisa -- several of today's world-renowned scientists, doctors, and energy - medical professionals think it's VERY probable that this artist's work is of that same caliber of "very powerful healing, spiritual energy."
A film is now in production documenting the artist, the science, the magic and the mystery behind these highly unusual works. The first official "unveiling" of the artist's work was held on June 8, 2006 at the Portland Art Museum, hailed as "COMPANIONISM: The World Premiere of a New Art Movement for the 21st Century!" The performance, starring David Scotland, Tucker Smallwood, and Jana Cole, took place LIVE in front of an audience who had the privilege of seeing -- for the first time in art history -- this incredible artist paint three works demonstrating his method he calls "Quantum Aesthetics" for which he spent one full week in silent meditation, tapping into the "OM" zone and not re-emerging into "the world" until the performance was finished.
The New Art Movement, as described by the artist, is an action and not merely a philosophy. As an action that has only a reaction of "goodness" to it (which has now been proven by Arizona State University), the artist has begun something highly controversial to the art world, and some traditional art crtitics and collectors have already turned away from this "first" for the art world. But then again, isn't that how all the greats were made?
For the artist, the movement's controversy isn't the point. To him, COMPANIONISM means paying attention to the absolute fact that we share an electromagnetic oneness, together, regardless of whether we know it or not, whether we like it or not, whether we believe it or not. This movement is about paying heed to the laws of the universe that transcend all mankind's false notions of what he would rather reality be -- COMPANIONISM is about the realization that only love is real, only oneness is real, and it's time to live as one, to work FOR each other, rather than against each other. This, the artist hopes, will hope call attention to a new era of peace and wellbeing on the planet.
A special-edition DVD of the World Premiere performance of Companionism is reportedly in the works showing the performances of David Scotland, Jana Cole, and Tucker Smallwood, and of course the art. Producers hope to include such DVD-extras as interviews with key art patrons, collectors, scientists, and more. Stay tuned!
